The representative of the Association of Displaced Palestinians from Syria met with the director of UNRWA operations in Lebanon Claudio Cordoni and the head of the commission of UNRWA staff members Hakam Shehwan at Lahfa Center in Nahr AlBared Camp.
The association briefed UNRWA representatives on the tragic situation of the displaced Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and their lack of access to vital services, most notably health care, urgent surgeries, and allowances for life-saving medicines.
