Residents of Yarmouk and Daraa camps have launched cries for help over the acute water crisis, saying they have been forced to drink water spouting from contaminated artesian wells.
Speaking with AGPS, experts warned of the life-threatening diseases and kidney disorders inflicted by the unhygienic artesian wells due to the germ-infested deposits and the absence of water-disinfection endeavors.
The Syrian government has cut off water supplies to Yarmouk Camp for over 1,005 days running and to Daraa Camp for over 1,154 consecutive days.
