Violent clashes burst out on Wednesday between ISIS and Jaysh AlIslam, affiliated with the Syrian opposition, at the crossroads of Beirut Street, east of Yarmouk Camp. Medium and light weapons, along with homemade grenades, were used in the clashes. No injuries were reported on either side.
ISIS militias reportedly targeted civilian homes in Beirut Street with incendiary bombs. Three apartments were almost burned to a crisp.
A fighter from Jaysh AlIslam was shot and injured by an ISIS sniper in his hand.
Yarmouk Camp has been blockaded by the Syrian regime army and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC) for 1,443 days running.
