11-year-old Palestinian child from Syria Yousef Za’tout, displaced to northern Syria, died as a result of the blockade imposed on Yarmouk Camp and civilians’ lack of access to much-needed foodstuff and life-saving medicines.
The child’s family said their son was transferred to Turkey after his health status took a turn for the worse. He fell into a coma and breathed his last shortly after.
The family added that Yousef’s brother has been diagnosed with similar symptoms, raising concerns over his imminent death.
