Palestinian camps and various regions around the world are witnessing widespread mobilization in support of the Gaza Strip, in light of the ongoing Israeli war, which has entered its seventh month and has claimed tens of thousands of lives.

Activists from within the camps have launched calls via social media to organize massive mass marches, coinciding with the general strike called for globally, expressing popular anger over the ongoing massacres in the besieged Strip.

In the same context, Palestinian organizations in Syria called for organizing popular pressure events capable of mobilizing global public opinion to pressure the Israeli occupation and its allies to stop what they described as “the crime of genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza.”

In a statement issued by the national and Islamic forces in the Strip, it was stated: “We issue an appeal on behalf of every slaughtered child, every bereaved woman, and every oppressed elderly person, to the Arab and Islamic nation and the free people of the world, to mobilize in support of Gaza and to reject the American-backed massacres.”

The statement emphasized the importance of escalating popular action around the world, emphasizing the need to besiege Israeli and American embassies, halt all forms of support and supplies to the occupation, thwart normalization projects, and demonstrate unwavering popular support for the Palestinian cause.

The forces added that “the genocide committed by the occupation against our people in Gaza continues, amid international silence and unprecedented Arab and Islamic inaction,” noting that “Israel’s ambitions do not stop at the borders of Palestine, but extend to impose hegemony over the entire region.”

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the death toll has risen to 50,669, in addition to 115,225 wounded, since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023. The latest attacks, since March 18, 2025, have resulted in the martyrdom of 1,309 Palestinians and the injury of 3,184 others.

This popular movement comes at a time when Gaza is witnessing one of the most violent military attacks, amid UN warnings of an unprecedented humanitarian disaster in the Strip.
