Syrian security forces continue to arrest hundreds of Palestinian refugees in its jails, including children, women, and elderly, brothers, fathers, sons, and entire families, in addition to hundreds of them who died due to torture.
The AGPS Statistics reported that the toll of Palestinian detained refugees from the city of Damascus and its suburb is the highest compared with other Syrian cities, where the number of detainees in Damascus and its suburb has reached 361, 187 Palestinian prisoners from the city of Homs, 115 from Aleppo, 80 from the city of Latakia, 51 from Hama, 44 from Daraa, and 93 Palestinian detainees unknown residence.
The total toll of Palestinian detainees in the prisons of the Syrian regime since the start of events has reached 931, including 52 women, while the number of victims of torture in prisons has reached 406 victims, noting that many victims and detainees families keep silence about their relatives’ conditions for fear of their lives.
