Popular Committees and Palestinian institutions and forces in Lebanon called the Palestinian refugees to participate in the vigil that will be held on Friday in front of the headquarters of UNRWA in Beir Hassan district in Beirut.
The sit-in came as a protest at UNRWA’s threats to stop health and educational services provided to Palestinian refugees due to the acute shortage of funding.
It is worth mentioning that these threats come just weeks after the agency stopped providing housing allowance to Palestinian Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
