In Turkey, Al Wafaa European campaign opened Al Wafaa temporary Shelter center for the Palestinian refugees south of Turkey yesterday morning. The campaign noted that the aim of opening this center is trying to secure temporary shelter to receive the new displaced refugees until they manage to settle their situation and determine their destination.
It is mentioned that the center was opened during the arrival of Al Wafaa European campaign delegation to Turkey three days ago. The supervisors of the campaign carried out field visits to many towns and cities in the south of Turkey. The convoy distributed some relief aid to the displaced families there. It is mentioned that there is no official statistics about the number of the Palestinian refugees in Turkey, but the estimations indicated that there are 3000-5000 Palestinian refugees in Turkey.
