In the Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, the AGPS: 824 Palestinian Detainees in the Syrian Prisons and 382 Refugees Die Due to Torture

The AGPS monitoring and documentation team announced that it documented the information of “382” Palestinian refugees who died due to torture in detention centers of the Syrian regime, while Group statistics indicate that there are “824” Palestinian detainees in the prisons of the Syrian regime, who were documented by the group. The number of detainees and victims of torture is expected to be larger due to the absence of any official statistics issued by the Syrian regime.  In addition, some families fear disclosing such cases for fear of the reaction of security services in  Syria.
