Dozens of Syrian Palestinians in Iran are appealing for assistance in crossing into Türkiye

Dozens of Palestinian Syrians, estimated at over fifty, have issued urgent appeals to relevant authorities to secure their passage to Turkey as a prelude to their return to Syria. They are facing dire humanitarian conditions due to the complexities of travel and movement within Iran.

Private sources indicate that these stranded individuals had previously arrived in Iran on educational missions, completed their studies, and some settled there for several years before recent developments led to a deterioration in their living conditions and complicated their ability to leave.

The stranded individuals have appealed to the Palestinian Embassy, Palestinian factions, and the Turkish government, requesting a humanitarian corridor to ensure their safe return to their original camps in Syria. They emphasized that their request is solely for facilitation of their passage through Turkish territory.

These calls come at a time when Syrian Palestinians in various refugee areas are suffering from deteriorating living conditions, which reinforces the need for rapid intervention to address their situation and end their ongoing suffering.
