Action Group – Daraa
A correspondent for the Action Group for Palestinians of Syria reported the killing of Palestinian youth Jihad Muwaffaq al-Zaytawi, from the town of Uthman, last night. He was shot by unknown gunmen on the Tafas-Daraa road in the western countryside of the province.
According to our correspondent, al-Zaytawi was hit by several bullets while traveling on the road, resulting in his immediate death.
His body was transferred to the National Hospital for the completion of medical and legal procedures.

In this context, official sources confirmed that investigations are still underway to uncover the circumstances of the incident and identify the perpetrators, without any confirmed information yet regarding the responsible party.
The rural areas of Daraa, particularly the roads connecting towns, are witnessing frequent incidents of shootings and assassinations by unknown assailants, amidst a deteriorating security situation and the proliferation of weapons outside the control of official authorities.
