Action Group – Daraa

The Daraa Palestinian refugee camp witnessed the implementation of a Ramadan community initiative under the slogan “The Simplicity of Goodness in Ramadan Brings Us Together.” Organized by the camp’s multi-purpose community center, the initiative aimed to strengthen the values of solidarity and social cohesion among members of the local community.

The initiative was launched in cooperation with the mobile team, the center’s committees, and the Daraa camp development committee. It targeted camp residents and those living in the neighborhoods surrounding the center through Ramadan-themed community activities focused on promoting a spirit of participation and volunteerism.

According to the organizers, the initiative seeks to instill a culture of collective action and encourage local initiatives that strengthen social bonds, especially in light of the economic and living challenges facing the camp’s residents.

The event witnessed remarkable participation from volunteers and residents, reflecting the spirit of social solidarity during Ramadan and underscoring the vital role of community centers in supporting humanitarian and development initiatives within Palestinian refugee camps in Syria.
