Aleppo: A Palestinian student qualifies for the second stage of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad

Local sources in the al-Nayrab camp in Aleppo reported that Palestinian student Wissam Abdul Rahman Eid, a sixth-grade student at al-Nayrab Boys’ School, has qualified for the second stage of the Junior and Youth Science Olympiad in the fields of mathematics and general science.
His qualification came after participating in competitions held at the Aleppo governorate level, as part of the Syrian Science Olympiad program, which aims to discover outstanding students and develop their scientific abilities at various educational levels.
This qualification is considered one of the educational achievements of students from Al-Nairab camp, reflecting the continued participation of Palestinian camp residents in scientific and educational activities across Syrian governorates. The Syrian Science Olympiad encompasses a number of scientific disciplines and targets various age groups of students, aiming to nurture talent and enhance their critical thinking and scientific research skills.
