Palestinian activists from Syria in Lebanon announced they have received an official response from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), indicating that the agency is awaiting likely funding allocated for Palestinian refugees from Syria residing in Lebanon.
In a statement, the activists clarified that UNRWA has not yet specified a date for the disbursement of the funds, noting that the matter remains contingent upon official confirmation of the transfer and disbursement date.
This comes amidst dire humanitarian and living conditions for the refugees, with calls for expedited support.
The activists emphasized that the statement was issued to inform the refugees of the latest developments regarding the anticipated assistance.
